SPREADING THE SUSTAINABLE BEAUTY
Projects for a more beautiful and sustainable world
In 2018 Davines opened the new House of Sustainable Beauty in Parma.
The Davines Village was designed in accordance with the principles of Sustainable Beauty. The building and the large garden surrounding it not only aims to encourage interaction and productivity, but also wellbeing for all those who stay there. The complex is built around central courtyards, just like a village, and also houses offices and production units. The Davines Village opened its doors in late 2018 to everyone who shares the Group’s values in work and life.
The Kilometro Verde,” the Green Mile, a wooded area being planted alongside the Autostrada del Sole, aims to make the city of Parma a greener place.
Davines supports this development of green infrastructure, in the form of a wooded strip alongside the 11 kilometres of highway that lie within the comune of Parma. The project has environmental benefits as well as improving the landscape. It is a shared sustainable development project, unique in Italy.
B CORP CERTIFICATION
In 2016, the Davines Group obtained the B Corp certification joining the global network of individuals and firms who use business as a positive force™.
The decision to become a B Corporation arises from the determination to improve the world we live in. In fact, Davines aims to be a model company geared towards prosperous longevity, going beyond the mission to create innovative, sustainable products and committing to be “better for the world” in every project and action that we undertake.

The global campaign “I Sustain Beauty” is an invitation to spread Sustainable Beauty in the world.
“I Sustain Beauty” involves everyone who aspires to work in a large or small way to generate, promote or protect beauty in art, society or the environment. The campaign ambassadors are “beauty supporters” in their own sectors and they show by example, how beauty can be used to make the world a better place.
